Dr. Sudha Completed her Jyothish Visharada from Indian council of Astrological Sciences housed at Bharitiya Vidya Bhavan in Bengaluru. Being a doctor and a trained astrologer, she had the natural inclination towards medical astrology.

She was appointed as a faculty of ICAS in 2004, and was given the responsibility of teaching the subject of Medical Astrology. So far she has successfully taught 11 batches of students.

She has been a very popular teacher.

During her tenure as a faculty in the subject of Medical Astrology, she realized that there was no regular prescribed book on this subject which dealt with systematic analysis and study of the subject.

Developed a unique method of teaching, the subject blending the modern medical principles with dictums of Vedic Astrology. Her classes are popular even among the post graduate students with whom she tries to share her experience on a regular basis.

This entire experience of teaching this subject over the last 5 years was brought out in the form of the present book. The inspiration behind writing this book was the chairman of ICAS, Dr. Krishna Kumar who has been her mentor and guide.
